Happy Monday Motivation, y'all!
Don't let it stay on your skin....
Y'all know how I feel about the word 'failure'...and it's not that I hate the word.  It's because there are a whole lot of negative thoughts around the word without even having the conversation...just the word itself gives off all those negative vibes.

So, this week, we're twisting our thinking about what happens when there's a failure in your world.

I talk all about it (and a few other fabulous things!!!!) in this week's video...you can find it here:   Video
Good Stuff Ahead!

G3 ~ It's a thing, y'all!

When is the last time you had a weekend where you laughed every day, had real, grown up conversations with other women that just 'get' you, and you didn't have to wash any dishes after you ate?  Well, G3 is ALL those things and more!
Tickets are on sale now, and I have to cap it eventually because the room will only hold so many - ha - so 60 is where I'm stopping ticket sales.  You don't want to miss it!
Your $30 ticket (for real...how crazy is it that tickets are only $30???) gets you an epic dance party, continental breakfast on Saturday, a beautiful photo booth and props and all the fun you can stand!!  This is where you'll get together with new friends, bring along old friends, and enjoy YOU time....that elusive time you forgot existed!  Let's do this!  G3 Tickets

To Boa or Not to Boa....

The other day, I wore my purple feather Boa to WalMart.

Yep, right there between the bananas and tomatoes, I stood and snapped a selfie, purple feathered boa in full display, fully expecting strange looks and stares.
I got nothing.  Ok, Ok...I was in WalMart, but still.... this was the Food Market, the grocery store only, the one that's super busy and relatively normal.  But not one soul said a single word to me about my beautiful purple feathered boa, and I barely got a glance, much less a gaping stare.

And that told me so much more than any comment could ever tell me.....that told me that it does not matter how you think others will perceive you, but what you think about yourself that's important.  I adore that boa and when I wear it, I feel fabulous and all glitterific inside.

And that's the important part.  So, there's about a 110% chance that I'll wear it out again and I simply can't wait for that fabulous feeling to come over me when I wrap it around my shoulders and let the ends drape behind me, blowing in the breeze as I walk along....

I wish you feather boa days, brave moments that make you feel fabulous and all the glitterific thoughts you can stand every single day!

Who's your bestie?

I think the word 'friend' gets tossed around a lot, but in reality, there are fewer people that are truly a friend than we list as 'friends' on our Facebook profile.

As a matter of fact, if I was a betting woman, I'd bet the bank on it.

And, truth be told, there are some 'friends' on my list that I don't always recognize.
It's cool to have a lot of 'friends' that fill a lot of different roles for us and us for them.  Some are those that you have lunch with, some are shopping friends, some are your kids friends parents (you have a contact that says, "Susie's mom", right???), some are long time friends, work friends, family friends, and then there are those acquaintances that you might not even be sure of the last name.

But it's those true friends, the ones that you just 'click' with that you hang on to, no matter what.  There may be time when you aren't as close, or life gets in the way and things happen.  But still...you pick right up wherever it was you left off, and just keep going.

Those are the ones you keep close by.  The ones that know your secrets and are there for you when you need them, however you need them to be, as you are in their life as well.

So let's shout out to the true friends out there.....tell them what they mean to you.  If you can't say the words (and saying the words is so hard for some crazy reason), let them know with a note, a 'hello' text, a piece of pie, or a hug.

It'll make their day and it'll make you feel pretty wonderful, too!

There's a National Day of What?

Today is National Drink Wine Day.

And seriously...there's a DAY for that?

I often talk about the 'National Day of Whatever' on Tuesday nights and they strike me as hilarious...National Battery Day?  National Coloring Book Day?  National Work Like a Dog Day?

What does that even mean?

I think they're missing the most important day...it is always going to be....today.

Because today can make all the difference in the world.

What a wonderful thought....

It's easy to see the flaws when we look in the mirror.  They shout as us, waving a flag so we'll be sure and see every single one.  We spend a lot of time obsessing over each less than perfect inch of ourselves and then feel defeated before we've even begun our day.

What if, instead....we obsessed over what we loved....wouldn't that be a massive, yet oh-so-simple change?

Yes...yes it would.  Let's do that, instead!

It's Zoom Call Time!

Our monthly Zoom call is this Sunday night, at 9:00 pm ET!

If you have never zoomed, it's painless, free, and fun!

I'll send an email later this week with a link.  You'll click on the link in the email and you'll go to the website, which will take you to the live zoom room.

Think of it as the Brady Bunch squares or a tic-tac-toe board full of friends!  We will all be able to see and hear each other (but you can mute your mic or turn off your camera), and it's just a 'hey how are you?' chat that happens for an hour!

Check out last months, so you can get an idea....and then be sure and put Sunday, February 25th on your calendar!!
Zoom Call!

I wish you love & laughter, and glitter & grace
this week and always!
Glitter & Grace,
Sasha
