Happy Monday Motivation, y'all!
Those Dreams, tho....
It's all about the journey, y'all.

Dream really big crazy giant dreams.  Dream as big as you dare to dream.  And then start off down the path toward that dream and see what happens....

I talk all about it in this week's Monday Motivation video...and you can find it here:
Good Stuff Ahead!

G3 = Best Weekend Evah!

Imagine...sleeping in.  Dancing for hours.  Staying up late.  NO LAUNDRY. NO DISHES.  Laughing til it hurts.  Dessert for dinner.  New besties....

Yep, that's what happens at the Glitter & Grace Gathering. Get your tickets here:   G3 Tickets!

It's all in your head....

It's seems easy to sit here and say, "Just think positive" when we all know it's not that easy.  We can think positive all day long some days and we will still have a day that can turn out like a crapfest.

But...(and this is a pretty big but)...I am gonna guarantee you something (and I never do that):  If you don't think positively, then the negative wins.
And I don't know about you (ok, I do know you...), but I'm just not up for negative winning...like ever.

I'm not content to sit and let the bad overcome the good, the evil take over the joy, or a crapfest day stay that way until the next day and the next.

Nope...I'm going to do everything I can to turn it around.

And for me, that means turning on the positive to it's fullest power, and holding on tight.  It can make a difference.  I suggest you take a tiny corner of this thought and try it.  Daily.  Pretend I'm a doctor and "take 2 tablets every morning and you'll feel better soon".  Take this to the wall, or screen shot it for your phone.  Whatever it takes....to live like you're winning every day.

That danged Leprechaun...

Full Disclosure...This picture is NOT from this year.

I didn't even think about taking a picture of the Leprechaun this year because the stuffing was pretty slim and we're thisclose to being over the little green guy.

But Tater still believes (or at least says she does...), so we still pull the hat off the shelf and put green 'stuff' in it.
Except this year we didn't think about it until the day before.  So while we were at the grocery store, we picked up several small things that were displayed at the entrance, picking and choosing what would be best.

It wasn't until I was checking out that I realized we had been in the EASTER section and in our buggy was lots of chocolate eggs, pastel colored kisses, and at least one bunny.

And there was one pitiful, broken set of Shamrock cookies on the shelf that we decided to leave there.

BUT....I had an idea!  I could make some white chocolate candy filled with Lucky Charms cereal and sprinkles with green sprinkles and THAT would work.

And it did....and Tater recognized the candy as some version of what I frequently make.  So....she might now know who the Leprechaun really is, but if so, she kept that to herself.

After all.....as long as you believe, that's all that matters....

Why are we hatin' on Monday?

Well, of course I know why....it's because we have to go back to work on Monday and we'd all just rather take naps, watch Netflix and sit on the porch swing.

But I want to Twist Your Thinking a bit about that...a couple of years ago, around December and January, I had a thought....we always wish everyone a "Happy New Year" because it's supposed to be a fresh start and

a chance to being anew....you get to leave the old behind and make promises to yourself (that will get tossed by the wayside very quickly).

BUT....what if we could Twist our Thinking to have each day be a "Happy New Day" instead of just having this happen on January 1st? What if we could view each new day as a beginning, or even a continuation of good things?

Does that mean that every day will be fabulous, full of glitter and never be sucky?

If only, right?

BUT....I want to wish "Happy" more than just once a year....I wish it were so 365 days of the year.  So, Monday's are still tough most weeks, but I no longer dread them....I know each day is of my choosing, and even though there are things in my world I truly can't control, I can choose how I react to them, and that might make all the difference in the world!
Other Goodness you might like!

Nabbed Again!

So...funny story.

Some of you may remember that I used to do a dance party on my Facebook page before the artists said, "Hey now, we'd like our royalty payments, please" and Facebook said, "Sure, we'll get them from the people that are playing your music..."

So....since I didn't actually have a copyright license to USE the music, and I didn't have the millions to pay the fine or fee, I stopped doing the dance parties.

It made me sad

BUT....I said...hey you have a private, password protected membership and that should be fine!

Except I was using YouTube as my 'holder' of the videos and THEY said, "Hey, do you have a license to use that music or would you like to pay us millions?"

Ummmm....no.

BUT, I can post the video directly from my laptop....as long as I never have more than 3o minutes of video at one time.  EVER.

HA! So the dance videos will remain, but there will never be more than more on the Dance Party page at once.

At least not until I upgrade my website to the highest and fanciest plan.

Soon...I'm going with soon!

Your
Fabulous
is
Showing!

When you need a reminder that you are indeed fabulous, you can read a funny story, check out the life lesson that goes with it, then use that lesson to guide you to your best life.

And if you need a minute to chill, there are color sheets to take your mind off whatever it is that is clouding it over.

Your Fabulous is Showing is a journey, taking you along for the ride, like a group of girlfriends having a glass or wine or a cup of coffee, while they sit around and laugh, solve each others problems and hug it all out.

You can find it here:
Your Fabulous is Showing Book
