Happy Monday Motivation, y'all!
Nike has a good idea....just do it (again)
What could you do if you knew you couldn't fail?

That's a quote you've probably heard before...and really, it doesn't work (in my brain anyway), because you can't completely remove that 'failure' thought from your head.  It's never entirely gone.

BUT....what if we could look back and realize how much we've learned and what we've gained and go from that prospective and try again?

THAT's what I talk about in this week's Monday Motivation video...and you can find it here:
Good Stuff Ahead!

Glitter & Grace Gathering!

Are ya still on the fence for G3?  Well, lemme tell ya ~ it is just what the doctor ordered!  (Ok, I might be calling myself a doctor now....) Get your tickets here ➣  G3 Tickets!

ESFJ-T

In the third Life Purpose Quest Session, I talk about Personality and how it controls what you do and how you interact with others.

I offered a worksheet to help you figure out your personality type, and a free quiz that
gives you your type as well.  You can find the worksheets and video here and the Personality quiz here.

I think it'd be cool to take the worksheets, access yourself and THEN take the quiz and see if it's the same.  AND, if you feel like sharing, lemme know what your type is.

I'm an ESFJ-T.

I've taken the test (online) twice, about a year a part, and still get the same results.  I have to think that's just my personality, then!

The ESFJ-T has these individual traits:  Extraverted, Observant, Feeling, Judging and you toss in an extra T which is for Turbulent.

My 'role' is the Sentinel of any relationship and my Strategy is Social Engagement.

No real surprises, there!

So, did you take the test?  Did you access yourself with the worksheet? Do you feel like it described you pretty well?

I'll tell ya.....when you get the results back from the 16 Personalities quiz, it's pretty scary accurate...at least it was for me.

I'd love to hear about yours!

Perspective helps us see...

I was excited to be part of an event this weekend...as a speaker and as an author.  It was an Expo with 50+ vendors, and all kinds of happenings through out the day, including book signings by authors (3 total), and a fashion show.

I was asked to speak to women's empowerment (NO problem) and then would be able to offer my book for sale, and a book signing.

Y'all....THIS WAS BIG!

I had never done a book signing (probably because I've never had a book....so there's that - ha!).

I was very excited to be asked to speak as well, because That's My Jam!  The day arrived, I packed up my stuff, and headed out.  I had 96 books, and with 50+ vendors, all those attendees and all that happening, I was hoping I had enough!

I did.  I did have enough.  I had 96 too many actually.

Nope, didn't sell a single one.

BUT.....here's the perspective I'm talking about....I could have been TOTALLY Bummed that I sold ZERO, NADA, NOTHIN', ZILCH.

Instead, I made myself think about the positive outcomes....I met several people and connected with many that said they were interested in talking to me again.  I had one lady ask if I'd come speak to her women's group.  I connected with the event organizer and am speaking at her event in Raleigh in June.  AND....I'm working with her on several other projects she puts together in Charlotte (all driving distance and big cities in NC).

I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed that I didn't have any sales.

But here's the even bigger flying-right-over-my-head karma that happened:  I just found out that the event on Thursday, a private, corporate event where I am the ONLY speaker, will have 130+ people there.

IF I had sold a bunch of books Saturday, I would not have had those for this Thursday.

Yep...it's all a matter of perspective...

Hello Gorgeous!

Y'all know I love pretty, funny, funky, seasonal phone backgrounds!

So I added 14 NEW BACKGROUNDS!!

And now I can't decide which new one I'm going to use!

You can find them all here and as a reminder, you can click on one you like, then save it to your phone, then choose that as the wallpaper!!

Have fun!

Wait....HOW MANY?

Yesterday, I wrote the 400th Morning Motivation email.

400, y'all.
HOLY MOLY!  That's more than a year's worth (bet you already knew that - ha!)

When I started this club membership shizzle, I had no idea how it would work out.

But I think it's working out pretty good!  I love the content that's included, I love the love you send right back to me, and I love encouraging, motivating, and inspiring you every single day.

Thanks for hanging around!
Other Goodness you might like!

Frivolous?
Who, me?

Often, when dealing with all the chaos known as life, I choose to laugh.  And just as often, people will say I'm silly, or foolish, or childish or some other ish.

I bet you can guess what I say to that...whatever!

It IS my way of getting through each day...tough or tame.

I like the silly, the oddity, the stuff that makes you go....hmmmm....

So when I saw this headband hat on Saturday, I KNEW I had to have it.

Like RIGHT THEN and I wanted to wear it RIGHT THEN, too.

I love it.  It makes me laugh.

And really, shouldn't that be the reason for just about anything?

What makes YOU laugh?

Your
Fabulous
is
Showing!

This book....I never expected it to have the impact it did.

I wanted to write a book and share stories, life lessons I learned along the way, maybe to help someone else as they went through something similar.

It has become so much more than just a book....people have written to tell me what a difference it made in their life, and how it helped them through a tough time.

They've bought one for daughters, sisters, mothers, and friends.

And they've read it over and over themselves.

I am honored....

You can find it here:
