Happy Monday Motivation, y'all!
Make a list and check it OFF
We all get overwhelmed some time...and sometimes it most of the time.  But there are a few things you can do to reduce that overwhelm and get through each day with a little glitter & grace.

And I talk about just that in this week's Monday Motivation video...you can find it here:
Good Stuff Ahead!

Glitter & Grace Gathering!

Train Your Brain!

Here's a fun, quick fact:  Your brain can't think two thoughts at the same time.

So all those times we're trying to multi-task and end up getting so frustrated because we can't keep it all straight, it's because we're asking our brains to do something it simply can't do.

Now....our brains are pretty amazing and
show up for all kinds of good stuff every day.  They literally make us who we are and allow us to do everything we do.

So...where am I going with this?

Well.....if your brain is thinking positive, good, happy, joy-filled thoughts......

IT CAN'T THINK BAD, EVIL, WICKED, HATEFUL THOUGHTS!

Boom.  Mic dropped.

Can't think of a
single reason....

Whenever we make a decision, often we are pestered with the "why's" and the "did I do what I should have done" questions that wrangle around in our brain like a loose marble looking for a pocket.

I fully believe we should make the decision,
and then let the only thing that floats through our brain be "Why Not?".  I think it's agonizing enough to have to make the decision, but then when we torture ourselves over the possibility that it wasn't the right decision, well that just hurts our soul and tires our brain.

Can you go forward and change your mind?
Can you go forward and do things differently?
Can you go forward and start a new plan?

Yes.  Yes you can.

But you know what you can't do?

You can't go back in time and change the decision.

So, rather than waste precious time, energy, and soul searching on what has already happened, focus on the forward part of it and let that past teach you whatever lesson you need to learn....

You've got this!

I'd like extra
sprinkles, please!

Y'all, I just couldn't stand it when I found these cool phone backgrounds/wallpapers!

I have added 17 more!! There's over 130 now and dang, I change mine about every day.  A few of these newest ones made me think you might gift one to a young lady in your world....but then again...those donuts (and the sugar skull one!!) is pretty awesome for us big girls, too!

You can find them all here and as a reminder, you can click on one you like, then save it to your phone, then choose that as the wallpaper!!

Have fun!

Hello, I'm your host today!

A few weeks ago, I told you about a collaboration with several other fabulous business women called the Awaken Creativity Project.

This brings together creativity and several other pieces of our daily lives and I just love it.

Today was my day to host and the prompt was pretty magical, if I do say so myself 😉

The project runs the month of April and it's not
too late to join (you can do that here).

If you've already joined, I really think you'd love today's 'lesson' and worksheet (y'all know I love me some worksheets!).

It's all about discovering more about yourself in the form of personal growth...which is the topic this week.

If you'd like to see my post for today, you can find it right here.  And I'd love to read your thoughts on the last sentence of the worksheet...drop the in the comment section of the post itself and we can all chat about it!
Other Goodness you might like!

ROAD TRIP!!

This picture just makes me smile!

It was taken in 2010 and we were headed to the beach.  That's Tater in the background and the little girl in the front is the daughter of Tink, one of my best friends.

They're going with us on the cruise and I think we HAVE to recreate this picture on Friday.

What a difference 9 years makes in the life of a child....

And in our world as well, but it's just so noticeable in children.

Truth is, there's just as big a difference in us as well, but we sometimes hide it better.

Probably because we have been so busy living life that we might not have noticed the small, sometimes subtle changes life brings about.

And just as often, when we hear a sentence, or read an article, or even just see something, it changes the way the think.

That's pretty amazing when you think about it.

Stay tuned....

Your
Fabulous
is
Showing!

This book....I never expected it to have the impact it did.

I wanted to write a book and share stories, life lessons I learned along the way, maybe to help someone else as they went through something similar.

It has become so much more than just a book....people have written to tell me what a difference it made in their life, and how it helped them through a tough time.

They've bought one for daughters, sisters, mothers, and friends.

And they've read it over and over themselves.

I am honored....
