Happy Monday Motivation, y'all!
Break the Cycle...
I had a totally different plan for this weeks video, but I took a left turn and never turned around.  And that's just fine...

The message in THIS video is SO important.  I have said it many different ways, but this one is the catalyst that makes it all make sense.

Stop the cycle....Twist your Thinking....See the Love.

Whatever you do, watch this week's
Monday Motivation video...you can find it here:
Good Stuff Ahead!

Glitter & Grace Gathering!

Come spend a weekend with me in Hickory this summer!  You can find out about it here ➣   G3 Tickets!

A little Glitter & Grace anyone?

I found the coolest website that lets me create these cool word images.

So naturally I had to create one for the Glitter & Grace Club!

It is filled with the words that describe you...words that tell a story and make me smile.

You can print it, save it, share it, frame it...whatever you like.
If you click on the image above, there will be a clean, un-logo'd one just for you!

Oh...and what's YOUR favorite word!

Enjoy!

Some Days...

Some days we sit back and things come easily, rolling along like we have good sense.  Our coffee stays warm until the last drop, the children mind, and dinner is an easy one-pot dish that everyone loves.

And that fantasy land happens somewhere else, I'm convinced of it!
Because some days are just crazy town and honestly, that's my normal most of the time.  And on those days that are super crazy, I put on extra lipstick, stare life in the face, and say, "Bring it...I'm ready".

It's not easy when there's extra hustle involved, but it seems to be what life is made up of....too much of so many things.  Yes, we get to choose which ones some of the time, but there are times that it's all lined up in a row and we have to go by, check off each one and move on.

I like to think of these days as prep for the slower, kinder, gentler days that will come around. But I also like to think of these days as a gauge for the tougher ones that follow.  I can look back and decide if whatever is hard on me at that moment is easier or harder than what I've already been through...and that tells me that I CAN get through whatever follows.

So, on those extra hustle days, think of it as a measurement to your strength, a testament to your soul and what you are capable of.  You'll look back on what you've been through and the next time be able to say, "Yep, I've got this!"

This view...kept me quiet!

Last week, we went on a cruise....Tater's first, and our third and yep, it was pretty fabulous.

But I live in the online world...my business is there, and y'all are there.  So I made sure everything was in place so I could continue connecting while I was gone.

No, I wasn't going to actually work while I was gone, but I did want to stay connected.  So I bought the internet plan that included social

media on the ship, I set up my phone plan with Verizon before we left, and made sure everything was set.

And it was all lined up ready to go.

Except it didn't work.

Like...NOTHING worked on the ship.

Now, I'm not gonna lie...I panicked!  I tried uploading, reloading, downloading, and pushing ALL the buttons for a good 12 hours once we set sail.

NOTHING.  I couldn't get anything to upload on my phone. I could have used the computers on the ship in the internet place, but my pictures were on my camera, so that didn't really help.

I had pre planned and scheduled posts to happen, so I wasn't sweatin' that part, but there was stuff I wanted to post and things I wanted to say!!

And then the most wonderful thing happened....I let it go.  I decided to just....not worry about it.

I have to say, it was weird.

And it was wonderful!

Nope, you're not getting rid of me that easy, but it was pretty nice to not even think about social media and all the things happening inside my phone.

I chilled.  I relaxed.  I didn't post.

And the world didn't stop turning!

I highly suggest it when you get the chance!

Hey!! I know you!!

There we were....along with 3,000 of our closest friends, just trying to get off a ship and head for home.

The line to the customs place snaked around so that we were looking at the people beside us as they were on a level above and below us.

Cherri smiled at me and I smiled back...then she said, "You look like this woman on Facebook that does videos".

Well, that's because I am that woman 😉

We talked and hugged and of course, took a selfie!

So...if you see me....come say HI!!!!

Your
Fabulous
is Showing!

When I wrote "Your Fabulous is Showing", I wanted it to be funny, real, and helpful to those that needed to know that life is full of detours, but your journey belongs to you alone.

The "Life Lessons" after each story were what I actually started with but I wanted to put the 'real life' in there with the stories.  And when I started telling the stories, I realized the life lessons went along with each one.

It's just like real life...you get through the day, and when you look back you realize there were things you learned and those things will help you get through the next day.
