Toss that Glitter all over the Season!

heard and seen...less worthy, less beautiful, less powerful.

But when you peel back the layers of your soul, and see the truths that lie there, stuck under a heavy burden, a lost dream, or a river of hope, you will know they are ready to make an appearance.

Say these truths to yourself.

Say these truths out loud.

Say these truths every day.

And then say them again....to anyone else that needs to remember where they are and how to get them in front of you...

I posted this on the Scattered Sasha facebook page (here) but wanted to share it with y'all, too. I think we forget these truths too easily and need a reminder every now and then. Or maybe....every day. I linked it in case you know someone that needs to hear this message, too.

We spend a lot of time when we're growing up thinking about what we will become. Then life happens, and we go and do whatever we have to go and do to make it all work.

One day, we wake up and realize that whatever we had planned on becoming, didn't exactly turn out the way we thought it would. But we did what we did and we lived our lives and carried on.

But....becoming what we had planned on grew with the lives we lived, and changed into something more.

And that more is what sets our soul on fire. And we should pursue it without fear of where it will lead because we it's our passion...the fire that burns in us is what should drive us to be fearless in that pursuit.

I'm in....how about you?

But...I discovered by accident, that some of y'all are getting the emails at all sorts of odd hours of the day. Noon, 3:00 pm, 11:00 pm...any time other than that whole "morning" time they're supposed to be sent.

So....if't that's you, please let me know! I can fix it so they show up in your inbox at 5:00 am...you know, in the morning!

And...if for some reason you're not getting them, lemme know that, too...crazy things happen, and I can usually fix them. Ok Ok, I can fix most crazy things - ha!

I'm just a
swirly girl...

I make about 50-75% (don't wanna math..that seems like a good spread..) of the memes and graphics I use on my FB page.

So when I was purchasing images to use, I came across this new font. I don't usually buy fonts, because I have a lot of free ones to choose from.

But I can't say no to a swirly font, feathers, arrows, and roses!

So I spent WAY too much time today and yesterday creating fun words (y'all know I'm a word lover and put these two together? Rabbit hole!!).

But here's the thing: this made me happy. So I did it. It didn't matter that anyone else might have thought it was foolish to spend too much time creating words out of letters that have swirls and feathers on them.

Because it makes me happy.

So do what makes you happy as often as you can (hmmm...I think I said that somewhere else this week...). And if that's coloring, playing in the dirt or playing with dolls...it doesn't matter.
