You've got more seasons than Vermont...
Saying, "This is the Season I'm in" is new to me, and I cannot say it enough....it is an explanation, a reason, a solution, and all the ways you need to explain what's happening to anyone.

I know I've heard similar things said in different ways, but this particular one really resonates with me.

See if it works for you when I explain it in the Monday Motivation video.......you can find it here:

PS ~ I now know it's October 14 - ha!
Good Stuff Ahead!

The UnBreakable Retreat

I wanted a space where I could feed my soul, where I could discover the space I held and figure out the direction my path should take.

So I created it.  The Retreat is going to be a place and time for YOU.  When you walk away after a day of fullness, you will be renewed, refreshed, and refueled.

Check it out here ➣
Retreat
It's scary, isn't it?

Once upon a time, I heard a story about doing things for the first time, and how we get upset if we fail.

"Does a baby take a step, fall, and never get up again?  No, they get up and get up and get up and get up about a thousand times until they figure that whole walking thing out.  And the coolest part is we don't expect them to take that
first step and NOT fall. Nope...we expect them to fall.  Over and over and over until they get it right. "

Now...we probably have a little more thought process going into whatever it is we're doing for the first time, but if we had the mindset that we needed to learn more about the process by doing it, then we wouldn't be nearly as upset if it didn't go as planned the first time.

Be Brave Enough To Be Bad At Something New.....

Think about that statement the next time fear comes creeping into your head when you're making those plans....

Oh the Possibilities!

I like to say, "I don't have any regrets, just fabulous experiences..."

Of course everything isn't always a fabulous experience, but I really don't want to have any regrets, so I try very hard not to.  I do the thing, I speak the words, I say no or yes, or whatever needs to be said, if I can.
So I adore this....

Grateful for where I'm at....Excited about where I'm going.

Another way to look at it is this:  You can't be grateful for where you are, and hate what got you here.

Sure, there are those times that you'd like to leave in the dust.  Guess what?  You
can.  Leave them, kick them out, spit on them, and push them out of your mind forever.  And when they start to rear their ugly head into your memories, focus on the positive things you have at your fingertips to focus on instead.

You have to appreciate what you went through and realize that's what brought you to this very moment.

It's a fabulous moment.

And if it isn't....then you know you can change it by going forward.

A
lot of things have happened in my world this year....personal to professional and I've been pulled in about a hundred different directions it seems.

I'm a gigantic believer in the universe and the messages it sends, so when I read an email and a Facebook post from 2 different people about the same thing, I was positive the universe put them in front of me to read and realize this was my answer.

I am so danged grateful for where I am...and so flippin excited for where I'm going....I want you to be, too.....

Who, me??

You're thinking....I struggle with a LOT of things...

But, I bet this won't be easy.

Mainly because I'm gonna add another sentence to your "directions" 😉

What is something I struggle with.....and, WHY do I struggle with it.

You know that you can't get through something if it's not in front of you to get through.  So if something is a struggle, you have to know WHY it's a struggle.

And then when we know the why, we can work on making it less of a struggle.

So, be honest with yourself....what's the biggest struggle, or the one that bothers you the most (might not be the biggest...hmmmmm....) and WHY is it a struggle?

Remember...you're being honest with yourself...that's a giant first step!

If you want to print the sheet you can do that here ➣ Prompt , but you can also use your fancy notebook to just write it down and get to it!

Maybe Peg Bundy...

This meme from Mommy Owl totally cracked me up!

This is so true....we feel out of place because we don't fit in.

You're like....DUH, Sasha!

But...hang with me here.  We feel out of place because we don't fit in.

And since we don't fit in, of course we feel

out of place.

Lemme explain:  When we're with our crowd, our friends, those people that we just are at home with, we totally fit in.  And it feels fabulous.

BUT....when we're not with our crowd, we feel out of place.

So, when we are somewhere new, when we look different than everyone else, when we think differently than anyone in the room, we feel out of place.

But...and this is the BIG BUT...There's nothing wrong with us, it's JUST A DIFFERENT CROWD.

Oh.....GIANT A-HA....and YES!!!

When was the last time...

you did something that scared the snot outta ya?

I wasn't in this ride at the fair last weekend...

Nope, that was ALL Tater.

And she was scared.

But she did it anyway.

So be like Tater - ha!

I still couldn't ride that ... thing...but I'm gonna be a little more brave tomorrow!

When was the
last time...

you made a totally funny face and took a picture...on purpose?

For all the "perfect" social media pictures, I think it's great to take a few funny faces just to make you laugh.

Because, really....who doesn't love to laugh at a funny face that's made intentionally?

So make a face and snap the picture...and when you need a laugh, pull it up and make it happen!

When was the last time....

you didn't sweat the small stuff?

Yes, that's a trim piece from our brand new cabinets.  Yes, it really irritated me.  But I had to step back, take a breath, and realize that it really was the small stuff.

This can be fixed.  Me having a stroke because I got so upset over it?  Not as easy a fix....

I'm gonna let more stuff go....

I wish you love & laughter, and glitter & grace
this week and always!

Glitter & Grace,
Sasha
