food section, or a store window, we see a reflection of ourselves that we don't necessarily like.
THAT's the issue...we don't like and appreciate our physical reflection.
And to me, that's the struggle.
We have spent our entire lives changing our physical appearance and there's nothing wrong with that...you (and I) want to put our best foot (and face) forward and look our best. We've altered our shape, our skin, and everything in between, and the cosmetics empire has become wealthy from our insecurities.
But at some point, we must become comfortable with that reflection and how it graces us. We are the first to point out our flaws...every picture we've ever taken is first scrutinized for imperfections and viewed as less than perfect.
And I just gotta tell ya....I'll never be perfect and I'm ok with that.
You know I've said this about a thousand times, but the next time you see your reflection in any place, first say this: Dang girl....you look amazing!
Let's be comfortable in our own skin....
