Write that shizzle down!
You know I like to write everything down, and honestly, I don't I'd be able to get half the stuff done that I need to get done if I didn't, so there's that.

But...there's a whole lot of other reasons to write things down as well, and that's what I'm talking about in this week's video.

So grab your notebook (notecards, scrap of paper, back of a napkin...) and check out all the details on the Monday Motivation video.......you can find it here:
Good Stuff Ahead!

The UnBreakable Retreat

The space we hold for ourselves is pretty small.  And the space we hold for others is often overflowing and gigantic.   Let's make the space for ourselves a little larger...even if only for one day.

The UnBreakable Retreat can do that.....

Check it out here ➣
Retreat
Perfection isn't reality

All the social media posts....the magazines, the television ads...all the Stuff that we see every day gives the illusion of perfection.

But it's just that...an illusion.

We are all a little broken.

And that's ok.
There's a Japanese custom where broken pottery is repaired with visible lines, held together by a special lacquer mixed with gold, silver, or platinum. The philosophy behind the technique is to recognize the history of the object and to visibly incorporate the repair into the new piece instead of disguising it.

The pottery is more beautiful for having been broken.

We're all broken in some way, and some are more broken than others. But this is where we heal and gain strength, by having the broken pieces held together with a glue created just for this process.  Your glue is whatever you need it to be..your faith, your family, your own internal resolve....

And by holding the broken pieces together allowing them to heal, you become Unbreakable as well.  💗

My new favorite word...

I like to consider myself a wordsmith of sorts, but I'm also sorta plain with my writing at times, writing like I speak, so I don't often think of the big words out there - ha!

So when I came across this meme and this word, I was hooked.

Now tell me....won't you be using this word every chance you get!

So let's put it to use....how can we experience Strikhedonia tomorrow?

I think I'll savor strikhedonia by getting out of the rut of my normal schedule.  Yes, I have to feed Daddy, and I will continue to do laundry because going naked this time of year isn't for

the faint of heart....(or eyes - ha!)....but I'm going to step away from the desk for...let's say 30 minutes.  Yes, that sounds like a good start.

This isn't my norm AT ALL.  Usually, during the day I'm with laptop on lap or desk and am working on
something.

But the leisure of strikhedonia is so very appealing....

What about you?  What's something you can let go of tomorrow and experience that joy of
strikhedonia?  (And yes, it's a real word, I looked it up 😉)

You're Golden...

Oh, it was nothing.

I'm betting the last time you helped a friend, this is what you thought.

Because we are givers, and doers and we help our sisters out when they need it, whether it's support in the form of time, advice, or a shoulder to cry on.

This prompt asks you to write down how you've supported a friend, and to specific in the ways you helped.

Now....what's missing on this prompt is what I want to you write afterward....

After you write down how you helped support your friend, write down the last time you supported yourself....by doing a little self care...and what you did to support.. YOU!

And ... look at both.

Are they similar?  Have you supported others much more than you support yourself?  We usually do, because that's just what we do.  But what if....what if we supported ourselves in the same way and just showed up for ourselves?

Can you imagine the difference in the way we'd feel??? Holy Moly!!!

So...yeah.  Whatcha gonna do now?

If you want to print the sheet you can do that here ➣ Prompt , but you can also use your fancy notebook to just write it down and get to it!

Shine on!

Y'all..read this again.

And I'll wait while you read it again.

Shine like the whole universe is yours.

Because it is. Boom...there it is!

When was the last time...

you did something a little crazy?

Yesterday, right?

Ha!  Well, I had a wild hare and thought I wanted to take one of those pictures where you're in mid air, with your feet kicked up behind you and you're way off the ground...you know the ones.

Yeah.

No.

But I tried anyway and this is the result. I'm not sure if it looks like I've seen a spider or I'm really happy.... 😉

I might even try again one day....maybe!

When was the
last time...

you found the perfect t-shirt?

I had a few shirts from a non-closed shop and I loved them.  But I got to thinking...I would love to have some fav t-shirts with my words on them.

So when I found a way to make that happen, I was ecstatic!!

And these shirts are perfection to me!  Long (cover your butt long!!), v-neck, short sleeve, and black...I'm telling ya...my perfect t-shirt!

And there are hoodies, coffee mugs, and a few other cool things, too!

Yep...in love!  ➣➣Shop

When was the
last time....

you read words that summed up exactly how you were?

Today....and maybe right this very moment...

S.C. Laurie is a powerful, soul moving author that I love...and these words...oh these words:

"some days I am goddess, some day I am wild child, and some days I am a fragile mess.  Most days I am a bit of all three.  But every day I am here, trying"

Ain't that the flippin truth!

Every day, no matter what piece of the puzzle we are, no matter where our soul has ridden on the wave of life, we are here....trying.

I wish you love & laughter, and glitter & grace
this week and always!
