I don't know about you, but I can sure find the crappy stuff pretty easily. Everywhere I look, actually, it's right there, in my face all over the place...the evil, the ugly, the wicked, the downright mean.
And I just don't wanna see it any more. I know it's reality and I know it's life, but I'm really tired of looking at the Unsparkly stuff.
So I'm gonna stop.
Can you do that? Can you just stop seeing the ugly?
I have no idea. But I'm going to look a little harder for the Magical, Delicious, Sparkly Moments because those are the moments that make me happy.

I saw that quote on the wall of a hardware store once.
It was pretty powerful to me then, and is just as powerful now.
Scars aren't meant to be hidden and shamed....they are proof we survived something traumatic and damaging and came out alive.
I wear my scars, wrinkles, gray hairs, and anything else that proves I have lived, loved, and laughed and survived it all proudly.
So here's to the scars of life....may you celebrate each one!

We've heard "grow up" and "reality is where you need to focus" and "there's no time for fun" for so long that we've forgotten what that little word means...

Yep...and you don't have to dress up or down, worry about leaving the house or braving the cold. Heck, I was in pajamas and it's entirely possible I didn't have on a bra...but that's what it's like to hang out with your tribe...good times!
Yes, I confess, I love them...they are nothing I have to think too much about, Tater can watch
them with me, and I do know how they'll all end.

I saw a funny meme that laid out the plot of every Hallmark movie..something about a big city girl has to rush home where the single hometown boy helps solve whatever problem, then they break up, then get back together and there's a dog.
