I think we (ok, raising my hand because it's me) sometimes forget that we can RE-set our priorities when we need to....but we don't for SO many reasons.

You really are...

For more than 3 years, my word has been UnBreakable.

I never imagined the power that one little word would have all over the world...yes, the world.

As I heard story after story about the strength that word offered, I was blown away by the connection we all had to 11 letters strung together by Webster to create hope and promise.
So when I decided to create shirts (again), I knew UnBreakable had to be one.

And it's my favorite. I want to wear it every day and shout to the world that yes....in fact I AM UnBreakable.

And so are you!

Twist that New Year Thinking!

Don't you love this idea for "New Year's Resolutions"!  I know we sorta touched on them in last week's video, but when I saw this, I was like....ummmm, YES!

What would your more be?

There are so many I would choose:

More giggling
More playing
More singing
More down time
More lunches with friends
More dinner parties where we just eat, laugh, and talk

Yes...so much more to work toward that has nothing to do with the usual resolutions we are
used to hearing.

I like these MUCH better, don't you!
 
So Very Far....

We sure spend a lot of time beating ourself up for the things we've done wrong or not at all, huh?

If I could wave a fairy wand over you and make you stop that nonsense, I sure would.

But I can't...because that's all on you unfortunately.
Maybe if we approach it from the other side, you know the one where we look back and think...dang!  I've done a TON of good stuff, I've survived a lot of drama, trauma, and turmoil, and I've made it through...I've been there so often and have taken care of so much that I am truly amazing!!

THAT's the side I was looking for!  

Let's do that, ok?

"Priorities"?

When I was creating this week's Journaling Prompt, I wanted to dive a little deeper into the whole priority piece...so what better way, right?

Think about it....we segment our world naturally.  (Ok, sometimes it all runs together, but still...) so it makes sense that we'd have different priorities for each segment.

And I wanted you to think about your top 10 in each segment so you could perhaps see a pattern, or realize a pattern that you might want to change.

Funny how that works...

When was the last time...

you watched a small town parade and took a selfie?

You know I love a selfie and I think my girl has gotten the selfie bug, too.

Of course, she is a pre-teen and has always known a phone with a camera...so it's natural. But we LOVE small town parades and I always try to snap a pic...it's a good time measurement and a good reminder of a fun day!

And if we're really lucky, we can catch 2- or 3 a year!
 
 
 
 
When was the
last time...

you bought a calendar?

Wait...I KNOW!!  Last year - ha!

I had wanted to create a calendar for a while, but couldn't get it together enough to make it happen...and wouldn't you know it...THIS year I was able to!

I did a very small run of these, and have 4 left!  When they're gone, they're gone!

you wore a fanny pack?

Let's see...1984?

Well, Tater saw this one and loved it so much, she agreed to let me buy it, then wrap it for Christmas - ha!

I'm totally on board because it's so stinkin' cute and she plans on wearing it cross-body style. 

But I think Henri deserves the credit for bringing back the Fanny Pack...at least at G-3 this summer  💗

What's next ? Stirrup pants? 

Oh wait...leggings ARE stirrup pants without the stirrups....
